סא״ל זאב אלמוג ז״ל

In memory of Commander Zeev Almog

Zeev (Zeevik) Almog was one of the pioneers of the Israeli submarine flotilla, commander of INS Tanin and INS Leviathan, and later headmaster of the Naval Officers School in Acre.

On 4 October 2003, he was murdered in the attack at the Maxim restaurant in Haifa, together with his wife Ruth, their son Moshe, and their grandsons Asaf and Tomer. Five members of the family, spanning three generations, were murdered that day. May their memory be a blessing.
