בית הספר לפיקוד ומטה — 1966
בשנת 1966 מסיים יעקב את ביה"ס לפיקוד ומטה של צה"ל. בתמונת קבלת תעודת הבוגר הוא מקבל את תעודת הבוגר. כל שלושת המצולמים סיימו את חייהם בנסיבות טרגיות. יעקב אבד עם הדקר, יצחק רבין, הרמטכ"ל דאז נרצח ב- 1995 בהיותו ראש הממשלה, ומוטה גור, מפקד בית הספר קיפד את פתיל חייו לאחר שחלה במחלת סרטן חשוכת מרפא.
